Blog Toast.

I mean poast.
I mean post.

Today's toast-- ARGH, post-- isn't important to the game, but I got an email today from a friend of mine who's going to help with FourBound 2 a little. He inspired the inside joke that the sequel is going to be based upon. Let's see if you recognize him.

[I] miss you guys, and hope to get back to you permanently soon. Life's a bore without you all. I dunno how well things will be for me and my sisters in the coming months, as my parents got onto us recently for neglecting our chores and my laptop dies at random and deletes important Windows files, making me have to re-installl everything and restart Earthbound because I forget to copy it onto my flash drive, but steppy dearest did sign papers on the new house recently, and I plan on getting a job in the new town and nabbing every hour of work I can get. As soon as I get the money I'm buying that Blackberry so I can get on LLF and DeviantArt again, and maybe I'll even get involved with Starmen.net. I really wish I could get on every day so I could talk more... At least once a week, so I could email you guys to stay informed. Maybe once school starts again I could do that from my PSP if the new school has wifi and I manage to sneak on without getting it taken up. To pass the time until then, I've been playing and hacking EarthBound (My hack, JunkBound is pretty much just that. I replace Ness, Chris Chan replaces Pokey.) and I've also been playing and hacking Pokemon to the best of my ability. (Gold and Silver are pretty lacking as far as tools go, so sadly new Pokemon will have to wait. Either that, or I can try to get some gen 3 stuff and revamp my existing sprites.) Sadly, these don't pass the time as well as I'd like, but nothing could. I'd need a time machine. Truth be told, I wish I was 18 so I could go independent and leave this poverty stricken, homophobic household. I might end up moving in with my BF later in 2011, sometime around June, maybe. If not, I was thinking about saving up and going on something of a road trip in the summer and visiting my friends. I might drop by and see you, but maybe not since your parents probably wouldn't like some random guy they don't know visiting you. Either way, I'm fighting for my freedom the best I can, and hoping to see you guys again soon. Say hi to everyone at LLF for me if you can!

This doesn't have much to do with FourBound, but as a fellow fan and hacker, as well as somewhat of a contributor, it's surprising that he can find a way to help without even without internet. FourBound 2 is a linear contribution to the first. Your only objective is to travel forward until you reach the final destination-- Which is where this guy you may or may not know comes in. I refuse to spoil it, so I'll hold it in, but it's going to go pretty great. Remember, don't be intimidated by the lack of plot information just yet. I'd love to hear everyone else's suggestions and implement them towards the game for a desirable final result, just like the first one. I'm not going to do all the work myself, and I'm counting on you!

Now for moar.

There's a zip archive coming out soon with images used in the video updates, misc site changes, and new sprites associated with FourBound 2! Keep a look out!
