Exploring areas new and old!

One of the best things about FourBound 2 is that the whole plot is completely renewed, so it takes place a year after Danny, Evan, and Ryan triumphed against Giygas. The game begins when you wake up in a hotel on an obscure island... You ended up here by mistake and you plan to venture to your destination by sea.

So what else is new? Well, aside from exploring new areas and fighting new enemies, you will be revisiting old areas. However, they're always different. Being that you'll be traveling around the world yet again, in a completely different time period, you'll notice that seasons have changed and what changes they brought on the landscape or the population.
 
Saturn Valley makes a comeback, and this time it's frozen over. What else could be happening here, though?

On an unrelated note; FourBound Tree is progressing very slowly. John's directional walking sprites are 100% complete now (3 frames for each of 8 directions). To be blunt, the animation looks terrible, but there's a lot of stuff I can't fix because of how limited the program I am using is. There is no copy/paste, and I have no way of comparing two sprites at once so I have to create every single one from scratch. It's hell to put up with, obviously.

But I'll keep going.
