Announcement: Pokemon (Untitled) Hack

If it isn't yet obvious, FourBound is going to be in testing for quite awhile longer. I would like to have it totally played through before I post it publicly, since that way I'm the most comfortable with the quality.

In the meanwhile, I'm going to dust off the FourBound site to announce a little extra something.

A Pokemon hack, yet untitled, is planned as a major side project. As I get used to the tools involved, I will post screenshots here now and then. It is very likely that this will not get far before being restarted or redesigned, but this is just for me to get a new feel for Game Freak's programming style.

And so far, so good, I'd say. I've learned how to script events, successfully edit graphics, and authenticate text hacking.

Here is the result.

As you can see, I'm in the process of replacing the main character (Red) with Demitri Thaddeus, a sort of OC trainer that I use on an Oekaki site known as PWOPL. So naturally, the "Rival" will be changed to Nyx Linett, with a slight role change.

I cannot gurantee that you can look forward to another serious EarthBound hack for a long time, but I can't say for sure that I might go back to it instead yet. I'm definitely not a Pokemon expert, but luckily, I'm not alone here.
